We propose to examine the X-ray spectral and simultaneous Optical Monitor characteristics of a sample of very strong UV-Fe II emitters selected from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). Strong optical Fe II emitters are known to the X-ray community as narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies (NLS1) and they exhibit very extreme X-ray properties. Our sample of strong UV-Fe II has not been significantly detected in the RASS leading to the possibility that their X-ray spectra are not typical of NLS1. We propose to observe 8 objects for 10 ks each for a total requested time of 80 ks.
