The PWN surrounding the energetic pulsar PSR B1823-13, was found in XMM-Newton observations in 2003. Subsequently the very high-energy (VHE) gamma-ray source HESS J1825-137 was by H.E.S.S. The gamma-ray emission like the X-ray emission extends asymmetrically to the south of the energetic pulsar PSR B1823-13 albeit on a much larger (factor 10) angular scale. The peak of the gamma-ray emission lies in a region never covered by targeted X-ray observations and the existing X-ray data are insufficient to test for a larger extension of the PWN. If the X-ray PWN was in fact larger than previously realised without exhibiting the expected spectral change, or if there was even an additional unrelated X-ray source coincident with the peak of the HESS emission, this whole association
