We present a hadronic model for neutrino production in galactic binary systems. Among them, x-ray binary stars with bipolar jets of relativistic plasma are especially interesting for their resemblance with the famed (extragalactic) quasars. It is proposed that sources of galactic neutrinos can be understood as the result of hadronic collisions taking place in the zone of intersection between the jet emitted by a compact object (neutron star or black-hole) and the stellar wind of a massive companion. Here, we analyse in detail the LS I+61 303 microquasar and make predictions of its luminosity and detectability with the new generation facility ICECUBE.
