In recent literature, it has been realized that supernova (SN) shock-wave propagation after the core-bounce can leave a peculiar imprint on the observable SN neutrino signal at Earth. We show that small-scale stochastic density fluctuations in SN matter might modify this scenario, potentially suppressing the signature associated with the shock wave on the neutrino spectra.
