Interferometry: Earth Atmosphere, Interferometry: Methods Of Reduction
Scientific paper
The concept of information efficiency of an interferometer is
introduced, and its reduction under influence of phase distortion in a
turbulent atmosphere is estimated. It is shown by direct calculations
that this reduction for simplest configurations ranges from several
percent to tens of percent.
