The work of Cardelli, Clayton, & Mathis (1989) presented a parameterization for the infrared through ultraviolet dust extinction curves in the Galaxy which is dependent on only one parameter (R_V=A_V/E(B-V)). This result was a major turning point in the study of dust as it showed that interstellar dust in many different environments follows the same extinction relationship. We propose an investigation to see if a similar behavior is seen in the Magellanic Clouds. In order to do this we will obtain J, H, & K photometry for all the stars with ultraviolet extinction curves in the Magellanic Clouds. This will allow us to determine accurate values of R_V for these extinction curves and, thus, investigate the physical nature of the dust grains.
