The X-ray temporal variability of light curves of Cyg X-1 can be represented by the properties of shot. The properties of shot of Cyg X-1 were studied widely, especially when Cyg X-1 was in its typical state, namely low state/ hard state. In this paper the direct superposing position method of shots and the autocorrelation function are employed to study the properties of shot when Cyg X-1 was in its soft high state/ soft state, The results show that the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of shots decrease with increasing energy. This is not consistent with the prediction of Comptonization models. The evolution of energy spectra and asymmetric structure of shots may explain the time lag observed in Cyg X-1.
