NWA 1586 is a unique new ureilite recovered in 2001 and displays the
typical monomict ureilite texture. Pigeonite grains in this ureilite
contain domains that consist of three pyroxenes, metal, a silica rich
phase and voids. We interpret these to represent a macrosmelting event.
