Magnetic Flux Tubes: Small-Scale Structure, Solar Magnetic Fields: Solar Disk
Scientific paper
Photospheric and chromospheric magnetic fields of small-scale magnetic tubes have been studied near the solar disk center using the Multi-Channel Solar Telescope at Huairou Solar Observing Station of Beijing Astronomical Observatory. By comparing integrated photospheric and chromospheric magnetograms, the authors found that some intranetwork magnetic tubes which appeared in the photospheric magnetogram have also appeared in the chromospheric magnetogram. Variations of magnetic fields found in the time-series photospheric magnetograms are also found to have corresponding changes in the chromospheric fields.
