Simultaneous observations of the chromospheric (Hβ line) and photospheric (Fe I λ5324.19 Å line) magnetograms in solar quiet regions enable one to construct the possible spatial configuration of the magnetic field in the solar atmosphere. The authors analyze the formation layers of the working lines (Hβ and Fe I λ5324.19 Å) of the Huairou Video Magnetograph at Beijing Astronomical Observatory. The results show that the magnetic flux in the quiet Sun probably does not diffuse significantly in the chromosphere comparing with the high resolution chromopsheric and photospheric magnetographs.
