The HETE Burst Catalog contains information about bursts detected by the HETE Fregate and WXM instruments since the launch of HETE in October, 2000. The catalog includes data from >100 GRBs, as well as >500 events from more than a score of XRBs, and ˜25 events from two SGRs. It includes bursts detected on board in real time as well as those found in ground searches for untriggered bursts. In this paper, we present preliminary results of analyses of the first HETE burst catalog, including event rates, duration distributions, and hardness ratios for the bursts detected by HETE.
