We report on the status of the five resonant-mass detectors of gravitational waves operating today in Australia, Italy and USA. They are now in the continuous observational mode with burst sensitivity h~=4×10-19, or, in spectral units, 2×10-22 Hz-1/2 over bandwidth of about 1 Hz. The strongest potential sources of GW bursts in our Galaxy and in the local group are today monitored by such instruments. In parallel with the observations, experimental development work is very active.
