We will present new results from our X-ray/infrared campaign on the microquasar GRS 1915+105 in August 1997 with RXTE and the Palomar 200-inch telescope. In particular, new analyses of IR spectra taken during X-ray dips/IR flares show strong modulation of the IR emission lines. This modulation indicates that the IR flares arise in material which has been ejected from the accretion disk plane, confirming the interpretation of the flares as the signature of jet production (Eikenberry et al., 1998a). The modulation of the emission lines and the detection of a weak HeII emission line confirm that the lines arise in the accretion disk around the compact object rather than the circumstellar envelope of a proposed Be-type companion star. Finally, we will also present preliminary results from our X-ray/IR/radio campaign of July 1998.
