We report an analysis of the temperatures of complete samples of clusters of galaxies with median redshifts of 0.05 and 0.39. There are 25 and 14 objects respectively in the samples. The observed evolution of the temperature function is mild, implying a density parameter of approximately 0.5 for either an open or a flat model with cosmological constant. We also present the constraints these data provide on the normalization and shape of the primordial density fluctuation spectrum. Finally, we compare our results with other recent work and generally find good agreement.
