We propose Early Release Observations {EROs} for Servicing Mission 3a {SM3a} designed to demonstrate that HST remains capable of producing the superb images and premier science for which it is celebrated. The program is divided into two sets of observations. The primary observation is a deep set of exposures on the core of Abell 2218, a cluster of both scientific importance and great beauty. A much shorter set of observations on NGC 2392, the "Eskimo" nebula, should provide a striking image of a planetary nebula which displays an unusual array of morphological features. This proposal {8500} is for the imaging of A2218.
