The orbital period of the old nova GK Per (1901), which is characterized by a particularly long orbital period, the presence of a K2 IV component in its spectrum, strong luminosity fluctuations at minimum, transient X-ray emission, and an asymmetrical expanding envelope, is determined. The H-alpha radial velocity curve of the star is derived from high-resolution echelle spectrograms obtained in the region 6100-7100 A with a mean dispersion of 16.1 A/mm. The data is fit by an orbit with a period of 1.904 days and an accentricity of 0.39, in an agreement with that determined by Kraft (1964) and in contrast to the generally accepted period of 0.685 days given by Paczynski (1965). The amplitude of the radial velocity curve suggests a mass ratio of about 1.5.
