We introduce a new method in the aXe software package which allows detection and flagging of deviant pixels when combining dithered slitless spectroscopy data. It follows very closely the techniques that the MultiDrizzle software applies to direct imaging data. We demonstrate the application of the method to WFC3/IR and ACS/WFC slitless data, provide details on the number of previously undetected defects due to cosmic rays and give examples of improved extracted spectra. The limitations of the new method are also discussed.
