Observations of astrospheres allow for the determination of mass loss rates of solar-like stars. We compare empirical and theoretical wind ram pressures using a magnetised wind model. Except for some moderately rotating K dwarfs with high apparent mass loss rates, the empirical data can be explained through a moderate increase of thermal and magnetic wind properties with the stellar rotation rate.
