We report the NIR brightening of the High energy peaked BL Lac object SHBL J001355.9-185406, it is related with the radio source NVSS J001356-185406. It is a low redshift blazar z=0.094846 (RA=00:13:56.05, DEC=-18:54:06.5, J2000).On November 10th,2010 (JD 2455510.67830), we determined the NIR flux from this object to correspond to H = 13.136 +/-0.05, than is 0.7mag brighter than previously published NIR photometry by the 2mass survey.
