Astrometric observations of Neptune and Triton were conducted using the photographic Wide Field Camera on the 1-m Jacobus Kapteyn Telescope on La Palma. Details of the observations and data reduction methods are discussed, and it is shown how the data were corrected for radial distortion. Residuals for the observations are computed and compared with those obtained from observations of Neptune made with the Carlsberg Automatic Meridian Circle on La Palma.
