Equivalent widths and line profiles are presented for (near) main sequence stars in the northern hemisphere double cluster, h and χ Persei, and the loose association, Cepheus OB III. These have been analysed using LTE model atmosphere techniques to derive surface chemical compositions. Both clusters have an approximately solar chemical composition, in contrast to a previous study for Cepheus OB III where an abnormally low helium abundance was implied.
