The results of flux density measurements of the periodic radio star LSI + 61 deg 303 are presented. The observations have been carried out at 8.4GHz (3.6 cm wavelength) with the NASA DSN 70 m antenna of the Madrid DSCC during September 1988 and January 1989. The data cover approximately two full periods of 26.5 d. The two radio light curves obtained show radio outbursts of different strength, which agree with the time-scale modulation of about 4 yr proposed recently. An improved value of 1476 d has been obtained for the period of this modulation. According to this period, an average radio light curve during the active phase and the quiet phase of the long term modulation is presented.
