Photometric observations in the Geneva system of the late-A or early-F giant HD 93044 show that this star is a Delta Scuti star with a pulsation frequency of 11.90808 cycles/day, or a period of 0.0839766 day. The amplitude may be somewhat variable, but no second period seems to be present. The observed pulsation mode is identified with the radial fundamental mode.
