It is shown that, subject to the limitation l(p) = l(e), the dimensional cosmological principle, together with Einstein's field equations appropriate to a spherically symmetric metric, admits only the Friedmann solutions or a special model with the hadronic equation of state p = rho x c-squared. It is further shown that, if p = rho x c-squared, then p = 2 is a necessary condition and a special type of Friedmann model is obtained.
