The latest RXTE pointed observation of the black-hole binary H 1743-322 on 2010 August 17 03:23-04:21 UT found the source to have undergone a transition to the soft-intermediate state (SIMS). During the previous observation on 2010 August 16 01:08-01:37 UT reported in ATel #2792 H 1743-322 was in the hard intermediate state. The characteristic feature of the SIMS is the presence of a strong type-B low-frequency QPO in the power- density spectrum.
