The synthetic Voigt profiles of the following transitions (υarcsec = 0, υarcmin = 0), (υarcsec = 0, υarcmin = 1), (υarcsec = 1, υarcmin = 1), (υarcsec = 1, υarcmin = 0) have been computed for different concentrations and temperatures of CO and compared to the measured intensities of the UV sunspot spectrum by a high resolution spectrograph. From this comparison the solar minimum temperature has been determined.
