Astronomers have accepted a definitionfor `planet' that excludes Pluto,
instead relegatingthat object and at least two others tothe status of
`dwarf planet', in a series of votestaken on 24 August at the
InternationalAstronomical Union (IAU) 2006 GeneralAssembly in Prague,
Czech Republic.
