The neon and oxygen abundances in H II regions of seven spiral galaxies are determined through the P-method using published spectra. The parameters of radial distributions of neon and oxygen abundances in the discs of those galaxies are obtained. Comparison between the radial distributions of the neon and oxygen abundances in the galaxies shows that the trends in these distributions are in agreement. This indicates that the neon-to-oxygen abundances ratio is constant within the abundance determination uncertainties.
