The spectroscope aboard the Einstein Observatory which utilizes
nondispersive techniques is presented. Examples of kinds of thermal and
nonthermal features that can be seen as well as the possibility of
seeing small traces of thermal features in either much higher
temperature objects or nonthermal objects are considered.
