The 211-212 transition of H2 CO at 14.5 GHz has been detected in absorption against the radio continuum emission associated with the nucleus of NGC 5128. The profile is similar to that of the 110-111 transition, and, from a comparison of line-to-continuum ratios, it is suggested that all the three main absorption components are produced in a single cloud complex located well away from the nucleus.
