OH observations of the molecular line source Cep A are reported. The main OH lines show numerous components of high circular polarisation, characteristic of maser action, and are coincident, within experimental error, with a recently discovered water maser. The 1612-MHz satellite line is single and is observed in emission, with angular dimensions in RA less than or equal to 3 arcmin; the 1720 MHz satellite is seen in absorption with dimensions RA greater than 6 arcmin.
