The ESA Science Archives and VO team located at ESAC near madrid, Spain,is responsible of making the ESAC Science Archives available to the community in the VO context. By implementing the IVOA defined Standards for interoperability, the Astronomical Archives get to be seamlessly shared within the VO environment. As part of the effort in implementing interoperability from the Planetary Science Archive (PSA) and other archives, and taking advantage of the experience gained in the IVOA, the team initiated interoperability work with NASA, which produced the Planetary Data Access Protocol and planted the seed for the new born International Planetary Data Alliance. In this talk, details will be given on the several activities related to Astronomical VO and Planetary interoperability undertaken by the team.
