For a long time, globular clusters (GCs) have been considered as the closest counterparts of the idealized concept of "simple stellar populations". However, recent observations suggest than, at least in some GCs, some stars are present that have been formed with material processed by a previous generation of stars. In this sense, it has also been suggested that such material might be enriched in helium or/and in the CNO elements. Specifically, in a color-magnitude diagram the most common indicators of the presence of different populations in a GC include splits along the main sequence and subgiant branches, in addition to extended color distributions of horizontal branch stars. However, there are other indicators which can be used to study helium enrichment in GCs. In this contribution, we discuss a variety of available indicators to test the helium enrichment in GCs, based on new evolutionary tracks computed for a range in helium abundances and metallicities.
