19F production in low-mass AGB stars during the thermal pulse phase is studied, when the 13C-supply is introduced into the helium burning shell in a progressive way. The authors provide detailed calculations for the process with a parameterized model of H/He-burning. Compared with similar calculations when the 13C-supply is ingested instantaneously, they found that 19F can be synthesized too, but in a narrow T (temperature) range of 1.8 ≤ T/108K < 2.8. Comparisons between the computed correlations ([F/O], C/O), and that of observations are then presented.
