We have developed a robust nulling interferometer for exo-planet imaging. The system (called the Monolithic Achromatic Nulling Interferometric Coronagraph - MANIC) consists of a series of high precision prisms optically contacted into a solid monolithic nulling interferometer. The system is an instantiation of a rotationally shearing interferometer and, as a result, has a small inner working angle and an excellent "discovery field". We will present the instrument design and the test results. This work is supported under NASA grant number NNX07AH89G.
