We present one of the largest and deepest study of galaxy morphology at redshift z 2. The sample consists of 1961 BzK galaxies selected from the Great Observatories Origins Deep Survey(GOODS), and it includes actively star--forming galaxies with a range of dust obscuration, as well as galaxies with specific star--formation rate consistent with them being passively evolving. The observed distribution functions of ellipticity, Sersic index, Gini coefficient, M20 and multiplicity parameter of both the star-forming and passively evolving galaxies shows the existence of a strong correlation between the spectral "types" and the morphological properties of the galaxies, suggesting that the backbone of what today is the Hubble sequence was already in place at z 2. We also investigate the ``morphological κ-correction'' of both types of galaxies over the wavelength range between the rest-frame far UV (from ACS--z band images) and the optical one (from WFC3 H--band images). While the dependence of morphology on wavelength can widely vary among star--forming galaxies, it is generally small among the passive ones. Finally, we have studied the size distribution of passive galaxies with stellar mass M>1019 M·, finding that although generally smaller than in the local universe, these systems show a distribution of size (and thus stellar density) that includes galaxies similar to their present day counterparts.
