We report the discovery of a sample of 4950, 3300, and 1200 z 3, 4, and 5, respectively, candidate Lyman Break Galaxies (LBGs) in the Extended Groth Strip (EGS). This sample was selected based on ground based photometric observations of the EGS with the 6.5m MMT telescope (u', g', i', and z') as well as Subaru R-band observations. Stellar population models were used to determine synthetic spectra colors of z 3, 4, and 5 LBGs through the four MMT bandpasses and the Subaru R-band. From these models, we determined a specific color selection criteria for each of the z 3 (u'-drops), 4 (g'-drops), and 5 (R-drops) LBG samples. Part of this large sample of LBGs will be observed in the mid-IR as part of the Spitzer warm mission program, Spitzer Extended Deep Survey. With this new large sample of LBG candidates we will study the redshift distribution function and compute the large scale clustering of these LBGs. The geometry of our target fields in the EGS covers large-scale structures on 20-30 Mpc scales, larger than any other field with comparable IRAC depth. We will also summarize our plans for analysis of the deep Spitzer IRAC mid-IR data, which will be crucial for stellar population model fitting. The IRAC data will allow us to improve stellar mass estimates by a factor of at least two, as well as being able to better constrain the 4000 Angstrom break, which will help to break the age-dust degeneracy.
