We report early scientific results from two large programs with the Wide Field Camera 3 begun in August 2009. These take advantage of the extended wavelength coverage (0.2-1.7um) of the camera and its large suite of specialized filters to study the IMF in massive Local Group star clusters, the star formation history and massive cluster properties of nearby galaxies, and the evolutionary state of galaxies at intermediate redshifts (z 1-4) in medium-deep exposures of the GOODS survey field.
