Presented is a collection of articles in three sections. The first ssection describes single-model automatic counter installations used to smeasure the frequency of extensive atmospheric showers and cosmic rays sbelow ground and apparatus which record the intensity aboard artificial searth satellites. The second section deals with analysis of the role splayed by meteorological factors in cosmic-ray variations. The third ssection describes experimental and theoretical investigations of sextra-atmospheric cosmic-ray variations, based on extensive recordings sof cosmic rays over a wide energy range in Yakutsk during the sInternational Geophysical Year.
