The management of metadata is one of the critical tasks a data processing pipeline must perform. VOTables represent a convenient and powerful standard to exchange metadata between the data-processing modules and the pipeline control software. We show how one can benefit from the VOTable output offered by the latest versions of SExtractor, SCAmP and SWarp (three packages of the TERAPIX software suite) in a pipeline environment.
