We are conducting a long-term monitoring campaign of the optical and near-IR magnitudes of gamma-ray bright blazars using the SMARTS 1.3m telescope and ANDICAM instrument. We report that optical and near infrared observations of the blazar PKS B 1730-130 show that the source is currently increasing in flux, reaching B=18.85, V=17.65, R=16.83, J=14.66, K=12.45 on UT 2010 July 25. From UT 2010 July 08, the change in magnitude is dB=0.50, dV=0.71, dR=0.81, dJ=0.67, dK=0.94.
