The most direct evidence for a supermassive binary black hole (BBH) can be obtained by detection of the Kepler orbital motion of some emission component close to black holes. We propose to observe BBH candidates, which have shown some evidence in both optical and radio observations, through phase-referencing VLBI observations, to search for direct evidence.
