In the paper ``Cosmological Evolution of Linear Bias'' by S. Basilakos and M. Plionis (ApJ, 550, 522 [2001]), in equation (39) there is an editorial mistake. The function u(z) is not at the correct position. It should read b(z)-1 =y[z>~(Ω-1/3-1),Ω,ΩΛ] =A[Ω(1+z)3+ΩΛ]1/2 +C[Ω(1+z)3+ΩΛ]1/2u(z) Otherwise, the results and conclusions of the paper remain unaltered. The Press sincerely regrets this error.
