We present new results from wide-field narrow-band measurements of volatile species and dust from comet C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp) recorded at the Burrell-Schmidt telescope on Kitt Peak. As shown in earlier wide-field studies of OH and [OI] (Harris et al., 2002, Morgenthaler et al., 2001), the large gas production rate of Hale-Bopp produced a massive collionally thick region that significantly affected the spatial extent and outflow velocity of the bulk water coma. The current work extends this analysis to include volatile species CN, C2, and C3. In addition we explore the wide-field color properties of dust grains in the extended dust coma and tail. Near-field maps of the broadband albedo (Bellucci 1998) in the inner dust coma have shown evidence of differential reddening in reflected solar continuum. From a series of narrow band dust images covering the region within 1.8 million km of Hale-Bopp we map the wide-field spatial structure of dust reddening as a function of location in the coma and tail.
