Results are presented for interferometric observations of the supernova remnant HB 3 in the H-alpha line. The gas motions in the SNR are investigated, and the following values are reported: a velocity of 200 to 250 km/s for the shock front, a velocity of 35 to 50 km/s for the luminescence wave in the bright filaments, a mean radial velocity of about -45 km/s and a kinematic distance of approximately 3 kpc for the SNR, a linear shell radius of 41 pc, an initial energy of 5 x 10 to the 50th erg, and a kinetic age of 80,000 yr. It is concluded that a genetic relation between HB 3 and the gas and dust complex W3-W4-W5 is possible.
