Two different schemes for determining spectral types of G stars from low-dispersion photoelectric spectrophotometry are presented. The spectrophotometry of 19 G-type stars is examined. Extraatmospheric energy distributions, given in a relative system, are included; and both the scans and the energy distributions are used to obtain spectral classification criteria.
