In the present paper, the experimental sea-level hadron energy spectra
obtained by domestic and foreign investigators are analyzed for energies
on the order of 1 TeV. The correctness of a step-shaped hadron spectrum
observed by Baruch et al. (1973) in this energy range is questioned.
