Solar flare emission lines due to 2s/n/2p/k/-2s/n-1/2p/k+1/ transitions of Fe XVIII to Fe XXIII are identified in the spectral region between 66 and 140 A. The published solar flare spectra from the Goddard Space Flight Center experiment on OSO 5 were used for this analysis. Line classifications are based on data acquired from recent laboratory observations and theoretical extrapolations from these data. Previous identifications are revised and observations which may permit the measurement of solar flare densities are discussed.
