We present theoretical period-magnitude relationship for Cepheids in different filters for fundamental and first overtone pulsators. These results are calculated taking into account the evolution, a linear stability analysis, atmosphere calculations and synthetic spectra in a consistant way. The results are provided for different metallicities characteristic of the Magellanic Clouds and the Milky Way. Comparison are made with observations from EROS and OGLE in the MC.
