I describe the prospective work undertaken on an interferometric technique using polarimetry called SPIN (Spectro-Polarimetric INterferometry). The use of SPIN can bring to interferometry an irreplaceable complement for locating and quantifying the mass loss closer to the star. I present first the applications for hot stars in linear polarization. In a second step, I stress particularly in the detection and the characterization of the magnetic fields by SPIN in circular polarization.
